Mike Moran grew up in Bethesda, Maryland with his mother, grandmother and sister. A budding entrepreneur, by 17, he was immersed in the restaurant business. During the next 10 years, Moran got to really know the food industry, working as waiter and bartender in Washington and later in Atlanta. While working at Surin, one of Atlanta's most successful Thai restaurants, he fell in love with Thai food. He then met Nimitr Harimtepathip, known as Lim, a Thai national living in Atlanta who is a member of one of Bangkok's best known restaurant families. Together, the two created CurrySimple. Moran owns the American end of the business and Lim, owns the Thai operation. CurrySimple products are only available on the Internet.
