Milestone: Permatex® Clinic Program Trains its 100,000th Automotive Technician

Since 1999, Permatex has conducted free training clinics for automotive professionals, fleet maintenance facilities and vocational automotive schools. Today, Permatex celebrated and honored the 100,000th automotive technician trained through its Clinic Program.

The training was held on February 15, 2006 at Murphy’s Auto Care in Beaver Creek, Ohio. Brian Murphy, an Automotive Technician at Murphy’s Auto Care, was among the six technicians to be trained by Frank Gardner, Sr. District Sales Manager at Permatex. Murphy was honored as the 100,000th technician trained by Permatex at an award ceremony held at his business. The shop received a plaque and luncheon, and Murphy received a professional toolbox and Permatex product assortment.

Each training session is completed by a member of Permatex’s direct sales force and includes practical user demonstrations, application information, and a Q&A session on vehicle maintenance and repair solutions offered by Permatex.
