New York, NY (PRWEB) April 8, 2006
The Dessy Group announced today a new product offering: Bridesmaids cards created by popular illustrator Jennifer McCracken. Dessy offers two types of bridesmaid cards: 'Will you be my bridesmaid?' and 'Thank you for being my bridesmaid'. Both card styles have a die-cut dress with a piece of duchess satin from Dessy's bridesmaid dress lines inserted.
"Any bride organizing a bridal party can now take all of the first steps on Dessy.com." Alan Dessy, President of the Dessy Group, said, "They can invite their bridesmaids, then select dresses, and then send thank-you cards."
Dessy went on to say that this is part of a larger strategy for the company: The 'Will you' cards get The Dessy Group in front of brides and bridesmaids sooner, building brand awareness by offering a useful service.
The cards are available for purchase at Dessy's online store: http://www.dessy.com, and at http://www.bridesmaidcard.com.
The Dessy Group also plans to offer the unique cards in custom quantities through several independent online retailers.
The Dessy Group, originally known as A & M Rosenthal, was established in 1939. The business is a leading manufacturer of bridesmaid dresses and special occasion gowns under the labels Dessy Collection, After Six and Alfred Sung.
