Podcaster Central Magazine Distributes Inaugural Issue at the International Podcasting Expo, April 21 - 23, 2006

Podcaster Central Magazine, the newest Podcasting Magazine, discusses every aspect of Podcasting, from Mac and PC Tips to How to Monetize Your Podcast.

(PRWEB) April 11, 2006 -- April marks the inaugural issue of Podcaster Central Magazine, a compilation of articles by podcasters in every area of life, and it will be formally released on April 21-23, 2006 at the International Podcasting Expo. The Magazine is the first of its kind to offer the magazine in both downloadable pdf and podcast format. Jennifer Kelley Large, of KelleyKruger Designs states: "Anyone who hasn't taken a look or listen, do so - this is well worth your time and the information is interesting and useful."

Interest in Podcasting is skyrocketing, as over 570 people downloaded Issue #1 of the Podcaster Central Magazine within the first 24 hours. The British Market Research Bureau (BMRB) reports that a quarter of all adult internet users will listen to a podcast in the next 6 months. Other studies project that by the year 2010, anywhere between 10 and 60 million people will be downloading podcasts.

The contributors are all members of the Ryze Podcaster Central Network, a free social networking site where they discuss podcasting news and technology, share ideas, and combine their talents to create joint podcasts. Their first dramatic production is spotlighted in the podcast version of Issue #1.

Shane Matsumoto of Paradigm Lost Productions, was the producer for the Podcast, while Bob Prentice, of Prairie Beacon Radio took on the role of Editor. Penny Haynes, of Brain Storm! Business Podcast, and organizer of the first International Podcasting Expo, states, "The Expo was the perfect place to release the first issue. Everyone involved was very generous in sharing their time and talents. We especially thank Diane Carter of SAM101.com for volunteering to produce the e-magazine and provide the graphics."

Preview issues are available at the Podcaster Central site (http://www.PodcasterCentral.com). Submissions for Issue #2 are presently being accepted at the Ryze Podcaster Central Network. "We want podcasters from every walk of life to be able to share their passion for podcasting," adds Penny Haynes.

PRWeb is the Official Newswire of the International Podcasting Expo, April 21 - 23, 2006.
