UK Waterless Car Wash System Looks To Beat The Hosepipe Ban

The company also use recycled cloths, specially filtered vacuum cleaners and vehicles with ultra low emissions, for the complete Eco-Friendly wash experience. This environmentally aware approach to cleaning cars is unlike any other operation in the country.

The current water restrictions facing customers throughout the South East, means anybody caught cleaning their car using a hosepipe, could face a potential £1000 fine. With this new-found technology, dry washing cars may become an everyday possibility to help preserve future water supplies. One concern is that removing the dirt and grime from a car without water could scratch the paintwork. “Not so” says Leon Hamlett, Sales and Training Manager for Aquanought Ltd. “The special polymers in our products secret formula, lift the dirt from the surface, before it’s wiped away,” said Leon. “You have to see it to believe it.”

One thing is certain, the current waste of water cannot go on indefinitely.
