Car wash company Aquanought is set to beat the current hosepipe ban with its all new waterless cleaning system. Under the ‘Eco Friendly Car Wash’ banner, Aquanought wants to transform the way people have their cars cleaned, with their time and money saving service.
Using specially adapted scooters, Aquanoughts travel between appointments, eco-washing cars at customers workplaces or homes. As they don’t have to use any water, the saving on our water supply runs into hundreds of gallons a day.
The product used, is unique to Aquanought in the UK and has a simple spray-wipe-clean operation. Its formula means cars can be washed without smearing or streaking, leaving a slippery polished finish. This technology was created in America, where, in certain States, vehicles must be cleaned in special dry clean bays, because of water shortages.
As well as being waterless, the product is non toxic and bio-degradable. The company also use recycled cloths, specially filtered vacuum cleaners and vehicles with ultra low emissions, for the complete Eco-Friendly wash experience. This environmentally aware approach to cleaning cars is unlike any other operation in the country.
The current water restrictions facing customers throughout the South East, means anybody caught cleaning their car using a hosepipe, could face a potential £1000 fine. With this new-found technology, dry washing cars may become an everyday possibility to help preserve future water supplies. Aquanought wants to be positioned as the leader in mobile waterless cleaning operations.
One concern is that removing the dirt and grime from a car without water could scratch the paintwork. “Not so” says Leon Hamlett, Sales and Training Manager for Aquanought Ltd. “The special polymers in our products secret formula, lift the dirt from the surface, before it’s wiped away,” said Leon. “You have to see it to believe it.”
One thing is certain, the current waste of water cannot go on indefinitely. Hosepipe bans could become a year round problem throughout the country, unless we try to reduce our dependence on this scarce natural resource. Maybe Aquanought is the Future of Car Cleaning?
