Servidyne’s iTendant Broadens Scope in Lodging Industry

Supports TWELVE(sm) Hotels & Residences’ Innovative GHOST System.
Servidyne is proud of its relationship with TWELVE Hotel & Residences Atlantic Station; together we are advancing the hotel and lodging industry through the deployment of our leading-edge solutions to improve building performance

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 19, 2006 -- Servidyne Systems, LLC announced today a new application of its iTendant guest-services system, in response to hospitality-industry needs and in partnership with hotel owners and managers in the boutique, luxury and full-service markets.

The iTendant HL Web and wireless guest-request and preventive-maintenance solution has been implemented at TWELVE(sm) Hotel & Residences ATLANTIC STATION® (“TWELVE”), which opened to its first guests in February 2006. In the typical application of Servidyne’s iTendant software platform, guest requests are received by telephone and entered into the hotel’s management system, then automatically dispatched via wireless device. Not only does the system route all guest requests to the proper in-hotel service provider, but also escalates the priority of each request as required to ensure that it is fulfilled within corporate standard times.

At TWELVE, the application is taken one step further through the integration of the iTendant software platform with TWELVE's GHOST in-room technology. GHOST (Guest Hotel Operating System Terminal) is a desktop application that provides guests with the ability to order room service, make specific housekeeping requests (additional bath linens, sewing kit, toiletry items, etc.), contact the concierge, request their car from the valet and much more-all without picking up the phone. TWELVE has equipped every room with the GHOST system. This collaboration of TWELVE and Servidyne Systems is an innovation that is sure to have an impact on the hotel industry, ensuring that TWELVE’s guests are offered a broad array of high-tech amenities.

“Servidyne is proud of its relationship with TWELVE Hotel & Residences Atlantic Station; together we are advancing the hotel and lodging industry through the deployment of our leading-edge solutions to improve building performance,” states Todd Jarvis, President of Servidyne.

“Our aim in the development of GHOST was to offer TWELVE’s guests an enhanced hotel experience with a broad array of information and services available at the click of a mouse. From the comfort of their room, guests use a single application to access the Internet as well as the full range of services offered by the hotel. Interfacing GHOST to Servidyne’s iTendant platform ensures that service requests are correctly routed and completed to the high standards of TWELVE,” comments Daniel Bassett, Chief Information Officer for Novare Group, parent company of TWELVE Hotels & Residences.

Servidyne also participates as a member of the AH&LA Engineering and Environment Committee (EEC). The EEC provides a forum for the lodging industry and the traveling public for advocacy and communication of environmental and engineering issues. Servidyne’s active participation in the AH&LA, coupled with its exceptional engineering and technical capabilities, enables Servidyne to continue to lead the industry with innovative new products and services.

Servidyne has over 30 years’ experience with building owners and managers optimizing facility performance. As building performance experts, Servidyne assists customers in their efforts to lower operating costs and increase the value of their building portfolios.
