Spring Months Mark Beginning of Party Season

As the temperature rises and Spring melts away the doldrums of Winter, the party industry sees a rise in temperature as the party season begins.

Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) April 25, 2006 -- As April gives way to May, the annual party season begins across the United States as countless Americans begin to celebrate graduations, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Confirmation, Communion and countless other family parties.

From barbecues to elaborate affairs and everything in between the Spring and Summer months are the hottest months in the party industry with party suppliers and venues seeing spikes in sales and bookings from May through September.

“The phone starts ringing in April and continues to ring off the hook through September, then there is a lull until the holidays come around,” Robert Melillo an event planner in New York explains.

”The vast majority of people still plan their own events and now it seems easier than ever thanks to the Internet,” Melillo continues.

The Internet has changed how people plan parties, invite people to parties and share photographs after them. Websites like Nationwideparty.com have given consumers the ability to purchase all of their party supplies needs in the comfort of their own home anytime of the day and night.

“I do all my shopping online for my son’s birthdays and holidays,” Anita Rubio, 36 from Island Heights, NJ explains. “It’s so much easier to shop when they are in bed and I can concentrate on what I need,” she continues.

With the party season about to kick into high gear, websites like Nationwideparty.com begin to announce specials, increase inventory and roll-out new programs in order to bolster their market share and assist consumers with all of their party supply needs.
