The African Child Policy Forum Partners with a Cincinnati Design Agency

Arlene Aranzamendez is a brand consultant and an award-winning graphic designer who has developed a diverse roster of clients that includes national brands, entrepreneurs, arts and non-profit organizations.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) April 27, 2006 -– The African Child Policy Forum has recently partnered with Aranzamendez Design for all of its campaign needs. Located in Addis Ababa, The African Child Policy Forum is literally a world away. However, Katie Taft, the newly hired PR Director of the ACPF, hired Arlene Aranzamendez, the Creative Director of Aranzamendez Design, to bring their world closer to the rest of us.

“I trust Arlene and her work. I am willing to overcome the distance challenges, because I know what I will get from her company,” says Taft. “Being a Pan-African NGO, it is important that we put our best face forward; we are communicating to very important people in the African Union and the United Nations. Working with Arlene means that our work will have a certain polish and professionalism that will help us stand out in front of these very important stakeholders. Even with the time difference, I can count on Arlene’s help. Once she sent me a proof at 2 a.m. her time -now that’s service.”

Arlene is easy to work with because everything she does is professional. Arlene works with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product. In fact, she pushes for comments and suggestions on her work so that the outcome is exactly what you are looking for. Second best is never enough for Arlene
Katie met Arlene through a colleague at the Contemporary Arts Center in the Fall of 2005. In September, Aranzamendez Design took on the first of many projects for the CAC, including all of the lobby signage. Arlene also designed the CAC’s new web site and, in the process, streamlined the entire look of the CAC brand.

“It was extremely important to me that we streamlined the entire process and kept the campaign very brand-focused,” says Aranzamendez. “I very much enjoyed working with Katie – so much so that we quickly became friends. She was focused, professional, and knew exactly how to work with me to make our work as successful as possible. When she asked me to come on board last December as the brand consultant and designer for The African Child Policy Forum, I immediately agreed.”

The African Child Policy Forum is a new NGO and is eager to see how Aranzamendez Design will meet their needs. Aranzamendez Design has helped design an invitation for their Second International Policy Conference, which has speakers from the United Nations, African Union and policy makers from around the world. The agency will also help design their conference program and a billboard advertisement to be placed at the airport and in the city centre to create a buzz about the conference in Addis Ababa.

Katie Taft has high hopes for The African Child Policy Forum and every confidence in Aranzamendez Design. “Arlene is easy to work with because everything she does is professional. Arlene works with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product. In fact, she pushes for comments and suggestions on her work so that the outcome is exactly what you are looking for. Second best is never enough for Arlene,” says Taft. “In the future, I am hoping that Arlene will streamline the look and feel of all of our communications so that our look is professional and cohesive. It is highly unusual for and NGO our size to have such a professional design agency working with them.”

About the African Child Policy Forum
The goal of The African Child Policy Forum is to put the African child on the public agenda. They seek to make sure that their voices are heard on the issues that affect them. The rights and welfare of children are at the heart of their work. Through research-based programs and projects, The African Child Policy Forum will build a strong foundation for action and lend credibility to our voice as we build public awareness on the issues affecting children in Africa. By engaging decision-makers, the Forum hopes to bring about changes in the policies and practices that deprive children of their rights.
