NJAWBO’s Launches Atlantic - Cape May Chapter
With the economic growth in Southern New Jersey and the resulting growth of women business owners, NJAWBO is launching a chapter to support these enterprising women in Atlantic and Cape May counties.
Hamilton, NJ (PRWEB) April 28, 2006 -- The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (www.NJAWBO.org) announced today that it would launch its newest chapter serving businesswomen in Atlantic and Cape May counties, New Jersey. Caryn Starr-Gates, Vice President of Membership stated, "We saw the tremendous growth in the southern part of the state and had many requests for a chapter in Atlantic and Cape May. Our goal is to provide support for women business owners throughout New Jersey, and we can provide many resources to these women in the southern shore areas. We are delighted to host our first event in May and provide networking and educational support to these entrepreneurs."
The inaugural event will be held on Thursday, May 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sails Restaurant and Bar, 998 Bay Avenue, Somers Point, NJ. The event will feature a speed networking session and an overview of the organization and its benefits. Attendees will have a chance to meet long-time NJAWBO members from other chapters as well. Robin Tabakin, President commented, "This is an exciting time for us. NJAWBO can help these women capitalize on the economic growth of this area and provide ongoing support to them as they grow their businesses. Our members and other attendees will have the opportunity to forge relationships and build their business with other companies, fellow members and new strategic partners."
