Westchester Weddings Exemplify the Best of the Northeast

Westchester weddings are among the most lavish weddings in the nation and as the wedding industry braces for another wedding season may look towards Westchester weddings to lead the charge.

Ridgefield, CT (PRWEB) April 28, 2006 -- The wedding industry traditionally heats up as the summer approaches, with May weddings and June weddings topping the annual list of most popular months for weddings year after year.

As the wedding industry braces for another busy season, many in the industry are seeing a growing trend in the northeast, especially in counties such as Westchester, New York for more lavish weddings than in other communities and states.

With the economy rebounding strongly and a renewed emphasis on the quality of life throughout the United States, the entire wedding industry is expecting to see a return to more glamorous, high-end and unique weddings.

“Some of the most beautiful weddings I have ever photographed have been throughout Westchester,” Shel Secunda, a wedding photojournalist with impressive credentials and over 200 high-end weddings under his belt, explains.

“Westchester brides and grooms, like many others from affluent communities want their wedding to be a unique affair that symbolizes who they are as a couple and as individuals,” Secunda states. “I have had the privilege of photographing very lavish weddings as well as weddings with an understated elegance during my career and each one has a magic of its own,” he continues.

Secunda knows something about magic and photography – his impressive career includes having his work in The Permanent Collection of The International Center of Photography in New York City. Secunda also has photographed legends including Carol Burnett, Mary Tyler Moore, James Earl Jones, Meryl Streep, Barbara Walters, Liza Minelli and Morley Safer among other notables, many of them for covers of national magazines.

Westchester brides and grooms, like brides and grooms from other affluent communities want the essence of who they are revealed in every aspect of the wedding and trust photojournalists like Secunda to capture that essence and tell their story the way it should be told – through inspired photographs.
