Telematics Europe 2006 – The Most Relevant Telematics Event To Hit Europe This Year

This year’s event is the fifth in a series of successful conferences aimed at the telematics, car and entertainment industry, with a focus on both sides of the consumer market – entertainment and services.

London, UK (PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- All roads lead to Berlin this September, where, for the first time, Telematics Europe 2006 will be co-located with IFA Berlin, creating the best networking platform the telematics industry has ever seen.

This year’s event is the fifth in a series of successful conferences aimed at the telematics, car and entertainment industry, with a focus on both sides of the consumer market – entertainment and services.

The co-location of Telematics Europe 2006 and IFA will provide an unequalled environment for networking with potential partners, customers and industry peers.

Last year, IFA attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors, almost 7,000 journalists from 80 countries and around a quarter of a million visitors.

On September 5-6 this year, everybody that matters in the in-car infotainment industry will be in one place at the same time: automotive OEM’s, aftermarket suppliers, consumer electronics manufacturers, telematics service providers, wireless carriers and network operators, technology providers, content providers, plus the insurance sector, car clubs, breakdown service companies, car security network providers.

Conference speakers are top-level decision makers from OEMs, tier ones, entertainment systems manufacturers, content providers and operators. Topics up for discussion, analysis, and questioning will include:

  • Making satellite radio work in Europe
  • Europe’s e-Call initiative
  • Digital integration
  • The insurance sector perspective on automotive telematics
  • The business case for remote diagnostics

Telematics Europe 2006 offers you an unparalleled opportunity to learn what you need to know, meet who you need to meet, shape your strategies and forge alliances, all under one roof.

At www.telematicsupdate.com/europe2006/ you’ll find more information about this year’s event. The site will be updated regularly with program and speaker details.
