We consistently use quality ingredients to ensure that our customers get full flavor and texture in every bite. Clearly, the judges taste and appreciate the quality of our desserts, as well.
Just before the Florida competition, Mrs. Smith’s® introduced a line of single-serving, microwavable pie slices that are sweetened with SPLENDA® sweetener. Ready to serve in seconds, the pie slices boast 60% less sugar than the company’s traditional fruit pies and 0 grams of Trans Fat. The fruit-filled treats are satisfying as snacks or desserts added D’Addieco and are available in classic Apple and Mixed Berry varieties. Mrs. Smith’s with Splenda sweetener is ideal for people who want to limit the amount of sugar and calories in their food, including diabetics. In grocer’s freezers now, the pie slices are sold in twin packs for easier portion control. Last year the makers of Mrs. Smith’s® products introduced an award-winning Cinnabon® Apple Crumb Pie, Cinnabon® Coffee Cakes, Blackberry Crisp and Deep Dish Berry Burst Pie.

Other popular treats include: Mrs. Smith’s Traditional Recipe™ Apple, Dutch Apple, and Cherry fruit pies, Special Recipe Deep Dish Apple and Homemade Pumpkin Pies, Lemon Meringue, Chocolate, and Boston Cream Pies, Classic Peach and Blackberry Cobblers, Apple and Blueberry Crisp, Deep Dish Pie Shells and Homestyle Carrot Cake. Mrs. Smith’s Traditional Recipe™ Cherry, Peach, Apple, Dutch Apple, and Pumpkin Pie Slices are also available in convenient twin packs.

Based in Suwanee, Georgia Mrs. Smith’s® desserts, snacks and breakfast treats are sold by Schwan’s Bakery, Inc. Schwan’s was awarded 11 blue ribbons at the 2006 competition for its Mrs. Smith’s and Edwards brands.
