Jerry Reynolds' Prestige Ford Launches Inventory Reduction Promotion

Purchase new untitled 2004, 2005, and 2006 cars, trucks, and SUV's at NADA used car values. Inventory on these vehicles is limited.

(PRWEB) May 3, 2006 -- “We simply have to move these vehicles” said Bobby Malatia, Internet Sales Director at Jerry Reynolds’ Prestige Ford- Garland.

Mr. Malatia has officially approved a very aggressive internet sales campaign that started May 1, 2006. Knowing most new and used car shoppers are utilizing the internet for local pricing deals in Dallas, Mr. Malatia wanted to install a pipeline that connects new and used, Ford car and truck buyers directly to his store. Mr. Malatia is in a very unique position as this new Ford vehicle campaign launches in Dallas/ Ft. Worth.

“We really do have over fifty (50), Ford cars and trucks on our lot that are 2004, 2005 and 2006 models compiled of Explorer’s, Expedition’s, Five-Hundred’s, Escapes and F150’s. These vehicles have never been titled and the only label we can put on them is DEMO”.

Mr. Malatia explains how these vehicles got left-behind and how they will be marketed. “…as we work with local partners, vendors and even friends of the store, we end up with new Ford vehicles with 700-7000 (avg.), miles on them. As that happens, we try to match Ford car buyers with our Demo’s hoping to make great deals and solve some problems for Ford car buyers who are looking for that great deal, we just have too many, right now!”

“Because we truly have over fifty (50) ‘Demo’s’ right now, a traditional TV campaign would have done the trick.”, Mr. Malatia explains. “…but we need a way to advertise these vehicles without spending a ton of money on traditional car-dealer media. We are already losing money on these new Ford vehicles. It’s no secret that if cars sit on any car-lot in Dallas, (especially for more than six months), they start costing too much money. It just doesn’t make sense to invest thousands of dollars to move vehicles that are already costly to our store.”

When asked about special pricing for 2004, 2005 and 2006 new Ford demo’s Mr. Malatia explained, “NADA used-car values have apply to these vehicles”. Mr. Malatia is not shy about selling low-mile Ford cars and trucks with the same approach that individual car-sellers use, the NADA used car pricing guide.

Mr. Malatia also explains the selling attitude of Jerry Reynolds’ Prestige Ford- Garland. “Our margins have already taken a hit and we feel that we would rather lose money and make a new customer, than simply take the loss at the local car auction. That gives us the opportunity to market to that Ford car buyer in the future, and helps us get rid of these new Ford cars and trucks at the same time’.

Jerry Reynolds’ Prestige Ford- Garland (also home of THE CAR GUY), adopts a leadership role when marketing to DFW car-shoppers. Mr. Malatia boasts, “We will do our job properly, and we will offer outstanding deals on new Ford cars and trucks to Internet shoppers. That is what makes this demo-sale so significant. We are willing to do the work for the customer and really match them with a car or truck right now, that they might not have been able to afford a year or two ago”.
