Movie Premiere in Lexington, Kentucky

A short film shot in Lexington, Kentucky will premiere on Saturday, May 13th from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Kentucky Theater on Main Street in downtown Lexington.

A short film, entitled “Day One,” which was shot entirely in Lexington, Kentucky and features local actors will be shown first in Lexington. The premiere will be on Saturday, May 13th from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Kentucky Theater on Main Street in downtown Lexington.

The show will be free of charge and is being provided for public viewing at this event by Just Us League Productions. “Day One” is a Zombie horror film. It is currently unrated but would be expected to be rated R. No one under 18 will be admitted without a parent or guardian. The running time of the movie is 24 minutes. Several trailers for local movies currently in production will be shown before the feature. After the movie, there will be a brief panel discussion featuring local writers, directors, and producers answering questions about producing movies in Kentucky.
