Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2006 -- Artist McKenzie whose abstract paintings have attracted attention around the world has joined forces with established skateboard maker, BoardPusher.com to produce a line of cutting-edge skateboards. “They are awesome. The colors and energy she paints fits perfectly with the sport”, Says local skateboarder, Geoff Jacobs. “I ordered one the first day and everyone is asking me where I got it!” http://301url.com/25Y
McKenzie’s original high impact paintings have been painstakingly digitized and reproduced on the 100% Canadian Maple 7-ply lightweight boards with a choice of either high or medium concaves. The boards are offered in 6 different shapes. The graphics are top quality and the colors are intense. “They just POP! I mean, man you can see these things all the way across the street!” says Laguna Beach skateboarder nicknamed, Ole Scool.
McKenzie’s skateboard decks will be displayed at the Surtex Licensing Show in New York with over 100,000 visitors expected. “We will have about ½ dozen examples of the skateboard decks at our booth”, says Bruce Marble, licensing agent. “The crowds are expected to be huge; I anticipate a tremendous interest in the new line based on what we have seen already.”
McKenzie’s custom designed skateboard decks are available starting May 1st on Boardpusher.com. Visit here to view designs or purchase, http://301url.com/25Y
“We have more surprises planned for the McKenzie Line. We are currently working on helmets and other extreme gear. It will blow everybody away when they see the prototypes. There isn’t anything out there like this. It is really exciting for our company”, says a staff member. “You will be seeing us at the X-Games!”
