On behalf of Freeze.com, Ryan and Aaron Weber, accepted the AEC Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the May 8th award dinner of the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center, St. Cloud, MN.

The award was created to reward local entrepreneurs who have experienced exceptional entrepreneurial success. This is a periodic award bestowed upon the most qualified of companies based on the following criteria: Must have been in business for a minimum of five years. Must have amassed a net worth of over $500,000. The business must have shown a profit for at least the last three years. The business must have shown a steady growth in the areas of a) number of employees, b) profit, c) sales. Must have exhibited a strong commitment to social responsibility. The award winners were selected by the Executive Committee of the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center.
In 2000 Freeze.com's founders, the Weber brothers, were honored as Minnesota Collegeiate Entrepreneur of the Year and runner-up For North American Collegiate Entrepreneur Of The Year - Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
