AceShowbiz 2006’s 20th Week Artist Is Red Hot Chili Peppers

AceShowbiz.com has picked Red Hot Chili Peppers, as its “Artist of the Week” for the 20th week of 2006.

(PRWEB) May 16, 2006 -- Began their music career from nothing, it needs more than just “luck” and “good fortune” to become what they are today. The days were numbered when Red Hot Chili Peppers (http://www.aceshowbiz.com/celebrity/red_hot_chili_peppers/) first established their career in music scene until today, time when they are considered to be one of the leading bands to fuse punk and funk music. Tot up one achievement after another the band has achieved, AceShowbiz (http://www.aceshowbiz.com) has more than enough reason to pick them as its “Artist of the Week” for the 20th week of 2006 (http://www.aceshowbiz.com/music/artist/2006_20.html).

Starting out is hang tough, but RHCP could stand still before then gloriously embraced the vast recognition they had long waited through their entire music career, thanks to their album “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” which instantly soared to the top 3 of The Billboard 200 (1992) upon its release on September 24, 1991. Besides, the set’s smash hits, “Under the Bridge” and “Give It Away,” even led the quartet to secure two nominations at Grammy Awards in 1993, the first scoring in the category of Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group while the second in Best Hard Rock Vocal Performance for which they were joyously named the winner.

Subsequently scored more success after another with their next major album, “Californication” (1999), its single titled “Scar Tissue” wondrously gave them their second Grammy Award in 2000, this time scoring in the Best Rock Song category. Also garnered great success in “Californication” follow-up of “By the Way” (2002), RHCP went on tour before then came up with an intention to complete the recording process of their 9th album. Had the set, entitled “Stadium Arcadium,” done by the year 2005, the music group launched the double album on May 9th, 2006 only a day after its European release. Contained hit song “Dani California” which was previously released as a single and has already become the number one tune on both Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks and Modern Rock Track, this piece of work surely creating one more sweet outcome in the band's solid music career for sure.
