Talent Rock Winner, Holly Lena Moore hits California Country Music Gold at Fan Fair 2006

Country singing sensation, Holly Lena Moore hits California Country Gold with her latest album and "live" appearance at Fan Fair 2006 in Nashville. Produced by Legends Hall Of Fame hit maker, Robert Metzgar, the album is slated for release to Billboard radio June 2006.
It Reminds Me Of You

Hollywood . Nashville . New York . Redding, California (PRWEB) May 16, 2006 -- California has always been known for fresh, new ideas from the most brilliant minds in the world. From the gold rush towns of Northern California to the new gold generated from their involvement in space, Californians have always blazed a new trail where others were too timid to go. Holly Lena Moore is a country artist that is blazing a new trail into the future of country music.

Her sound is different from the traditional sounds of country music past. She has a completely new sound that makes you stop and take notice of a voice that has been compared to some of the greatest singers of our time. Holly Lena Moore has recently completed her first country album entitled, “Have A Little Faith” on Platinum Plus Universal Records and it’s a country winner heralded by fans and media alike.

The seventeen-year-old singer, Holly Lena Moore was born in Anderson, California on August 27th, 1988 during the reign of feisty country singer K. T. Oslin who sold millions of records with her album, 80’s Ladies. Holly is the love child of Tamara Black and Samuel Moore.

Like the album and music sign she was born under, Holly grew up as a lady, a “girly girl” to quote the California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger . Holly loved to dress up, dance, and took ballet, tap dancing, and craved to be the center of attention. In kindergarten she attended the Junction Elementary School in Palo Cedro, California until she graduated from Jr. High School. As an active young lady, Holly participated in sports, cheerleading, 4-H, played basketball and started singing in the choir. She even stopped long enough on her very fast paced life to raise a pig and call her Bella (Latin for beautiful).

Realizing that she was vocally talented, her grandparents enrolled her under the watchful eye of Jimmy Bryant, her vocal coach who gleaned golden nuggets from a voice to die for. She continued through high school with activities such as guitar lessons, cheerleading and became the President of the Choir Club. Throughout her high school years, Holly took the time to help others less fortunate and gave herself to doing many benefit concerts. She helped raise California gold for charities such as the American Cancer Society, the local drug prevention program and participated in fairs, festivals, and local concerts in the surrounding area around Redding, California.

Today, she is one of the past winners of Talent Rock, an intensely competitive talent showcase in Orlando, Florida that caught the eye of Hall Of Fame producer, Robert Metzgar who was one of the judges. After meeting with Mr. Metzgar in Nashville, Holly began her first recording project in Nashville which is entitled, “Have A Little Faith.” The new album is being shipped to retailers during the month of June 2006 and a single and video will follow.

Holly has always had faith in herself and in her ability to move the public with her singing. In an interview at Mr. Metzgar’s office on her birthday, the two of them, artist and producer, talked about the future of the country music business. Holly had very fresh, new ideas about the songs she wanted to sing and the sound she wanted to bring to the public. It is that fresh, new and invigorating sound that captivates you as you listen to her new album, being launched in 2006 on Platinum Plus Universal Records.

Holly had the dream of a life time come true as she recently visited the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville where she was a part of the Grand Ole Opry’s 80th birthday celebration along with Miranda Lambert, Bill Anderson, Ray Price, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Buddy Jewel, Lori Morgan and Little Jimmy Dickens. It’s a dream come true for the seventeen year old who has just graduated from high school, finished her first country album, and started her future country music career. As she finishes her favorite food, “watermelon with salt on it,” she is part of the California sound that has developed through artists like Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakum, and Merle Haggard. Holly says, “I owe it all to my showcase competition at Talent Rock in Orlando. I would have never met Mr. Metzgar or gotten signed to a major label recording contract without their help. Everywhere I appear, I always thank the wonderful special people at Talent Rock for their help in allowing me to meet the right people to further my recording career.”

Holly is looking forward to performing at country music’s biggest party in Nashville during the first week of June. Scheduled to perform at Fan Fair, 2006, she will join over a 155,000 country music fans for one of the largest gatherings of country music annually in the entire world. For one week, the city of Nashville hosts almost a quarter million people at the Country Music Association’s annual event on Second Avenue in downtown Nashville. If you haven’t bought Holly’s new album, you can do so by going to her web site www.hollylenamoore.com and ordering now. The album will be available at the world’s largest retailer, Amazon.com and also at Tower Records, CD Baby, and digitally throughout the world at retailers everywhere in 2006.
