TechStrata Acquires Telsius Technology

Extends available solutions to encompass hardware offerings, allowing customers to efficiently improve network security and performance.

Chino Hills, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2006 -- TechStrata, LLC today announced that it has acquired certain assets of Telsius Technology (a division of Telsius, LLC). Privately held and based in Signal Hill, Calif., Telsius Technology designs, implements and audits complex computer networks, with special focus on network security and performance. The acquisition better enables TechStrata to deliver to its customers an efficient, customized, end-to-end source of network security and performance solutions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Tony Steed, president and chief executive officer of TechStrata said, “TechStrata’s consistent growth during the past three years is due in large part to our ongoing goal of empowering our customers through technology knowledge transfer. This knowledge transfer occurs throughout the life cycle of our consulting engagements. We believe that the addition of Telsius Technology’s hardware expertise will contribute tremendously to our ability to deliver an expanded menu of solutions to our customers.”

TechStrata has successfully partnered with Telsius Technology on a variety of network security and performance projects in the healthcare, government and enterprise vertical marketplaces. Telsius Technology was chosen by Beverly Hospital for a campus-wide network upgrade project. Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute selected Telsius Technology to supply network security solutions, and Long Beach Transit relied on Telsius Technology to provide their gigabit Ethernet fiber-optic infrastructure.

“We are thrilled about this acquisition,” said Lee Godden, co-founder and director of sales at Telsius Technology. “The addition of Telsius Technology’s capabilities will enable TechStrata to successfully challenge larger competitors in the sale of end-to-end solutions, including consulting, hardware and software sales, plus service and support.”

Additional details on TechStrata’s enhanced offerings will be provided in the coming months.
