Believe in Dreams Vacation Giveaway Program Submission Deadline is May 31

Families interested in being eligible to win a complimentary vacation package as part of Vacations Made Easy’s Believe in Dreams program have just a few days left to submit their story for consideration. Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, May 31, and voting will begin the following day.

(PRWEB) May 26, 2006 -- Families interested in being eligible to win a complimentary vacation package as part of Vacations Made Easy’s Believe in Dreams program have just a few days left to submit their story for consideration. Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, May 31, and voting will begin the following day. The program, which has garnered the attention of families, individuals, and organizations around the country, is designed to help families who have faced an extreme challenge enjoy a vacation they otherwise would be unable to enjoy. From June 1 through June 30, site visitors to http://www.vacationsmadeeasy.com will be able to read and vote for the family they feel is most deserving of a vacation.

To be eligible to receive the free vacation, interesting parties can visit http://www.vacationsmadeeasy.com/stories/index.cfm to review the full guidelines for submission and to register for the program. A 300 to 500 word essay is required for eligibility. Families may nominate themselves, or other friends and family can submit an essay on behalf of another deserving families.

Recent submissions include a family of four whose 9-year-old son recently suffered a massive stroke that has left him permanently disabled. His younger brother has had to deal with the difficult situation of going from being the baby of the family to a 6-year-old whose older brother is less capable of many of the tasks he can complete. The boys have seen commercials of Disney World and desperately want to leave their daily struggles behind for a chance to meet the Disney characters. Another recent submission tells the tale of a mother and son who have had to contend with the daily struggles of the young man’s emotional and psychological disease. The young man is currently hospitalized, and when he is released, he has a lifelong dream to swim with dolphins.
