Pagel has been engaged in the information technology field since the early 1980s and for nearly 20 years has focused on EDI project management, system design and testing, VAN/VPN/Internet communications, and trading partner implementation. He has held staff and/or consulting assignments at such leading companies as Envista Corporation, Cisco Systems, Mattel Incorporated, Buena Vista Home Video, Authentic Fitness Corporation and Catalina Sportswear. He has extensive ANSI X.12 transaction set mapping experience and has worked extensively with the most widely used VANs, EDI translators, file systems and operating systems and platforms.
