Becoming Tile LLC Stages Another "Bank Job" -- This Time It's Wells Fargo

On June 2, 2006, Wells Fargo Bank officially unveils the new glass mosaic mural of their famed stagecoach and horses logo at their new branch in Chatsworth, California. The colorful mosaic mural was created by BECOMING TILE LLC, which also created the largest mosaic mural in North America for Wing Lung Bank in Alhambra, California Wing Lung Bank in Alhambra, California

Evergreen, CO (PRWEB) June 2, 2006 -- Becoming Tile LLC once again kicks up a duststorm as it blazes a trail across the landscape of glass mosaic murals. With the excitement over their fabrication of the historic mural for Wing Lung Bank barely quieting down (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/03/prweb337876.htm) , they’ve now ventured into new terrain by fabricating and installing a 16 x 8 foot glass mosaic mural of the signature stagecoach logo for a new branch of Wells Fargo Bank located at 10250 Mason Street, Chatsworth, California. Becoming Tile is negotiating with Wells Fargo to feature similar murals of the same logo installed in their various locations throughout the Western United States.

If one looks just right in the fading light of a California sky, the legendary stagecoach and horses actually appear to be galloping across the West face of the bank building. With the intricate overlay of earth-toned glass tiles, the dust cloud rises up from the gigantic yellow wheels of the stagecoach with each revolution. Every detail of this logo is exquisitely executed in 3/4-inch glass mosaic tiles – including the driver and horses as well as the structural details of the stagecoach itself. Even the trunks and suitcases lashed on top are visible in stunning detail. To add a refined touch, the entire mural is framed in travertine.

Becoming Tile LLC now offers installation to complement their fabrication services. This new installation division is spearheaded by mosaicist and master tile mason Ernesto Spinelli, who has more than twenty years experience working with all forms of natural stone in artistic, residential, and commercial venues.

Becoming Tile LLC is located in Evergreen, Colorado, and was started by Keith Dewald, a software engineer who devised the proprietary technique to fabricate glass mosaic murals of any dimension in record-breaking time for a competitive cost. Although the company is barely two years old, it has already fabricated mosaic murals in West Virginia, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and Costa Rica, and DeWald is busy submitting proposals for a bank mural in Australia that is even larger than the 4500 square foot mural for Wing Lung Bank, as well as a 1200 square foot mural for a shopping mall in Ohio. “Having this centralized location in Colorado definitely facilitates our ability to work anywhere in the country – or anywhere in the world for that matter.”

The ¾ inch Kaleidoscope Vitreous Glass Tile was supplied by Mosaic Tile Supplies of Cold Springs, Texas.
