Photo & Writing Contest: Summer Fishing
MoreBeach.com announces its first annual Summer Fishing photo and writing contest. $200 top prizes for image and words that capture the essence of fishing in summertime.
Orleans, MA (PRWEB) June 3, 2006 - MoreBeach.com ( http://morebeach.com ), a leading New England beach vacation and activity web portal, announces its first annual "Summer Fishing" photo and writing contest. Fishermen and their friends are invited to submit pictures (prints or digital) and words (from haiku to essays: 10 words to 1,000) that capture a classic summer fishing experience. Summertime fishing is about simple pleasures: surfcasting at dawn, a kid’s first fish, the big catch and the one that got away.
All entries will be published online at MoreBeach.com. The winner in each category will receive $200 (one writer, one photographer). Three runners-up in each category will each receive $25. Entries will be judged by the MoreBeach.com editorial staff based on how well they capture the essence of summer fishing. Entries are welcome from any location in the world.
All entries must be received before September 4th, 2006. They can be submitted via email to:

There is no limit to the number of entry submissions. Winners will be announced two weeks after the contest ends.
