Vianix Welcomes New Sales and Marketing Executive

Reza Hashampour, President and CEO, announced today that Bernard Brafman joined the Vianix team as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Embedded Solutions.

Virginia Beach, Virginia (PRWEB) June 11, 2006 -- Reza Hashampour, President and CEO, announced today that Bernard Brafman joined the Vianix team as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Embedded Solutions.

“We are increasing our focus on the embedded space, and Bernie’s mix of semiconductor and speech technology experience are ideal for our initiatives in this area”, said Hashampour.

Brafman earned his MSEE from Stanford University, and enjoyed an engineering career of increasing responsibility before changing his field to Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

He has worked for large, small and start-up technology firms such as Toshiba, Sensory and Audience. While at Orbit Semiconductor, he led a team of Sales and Applications Engineers creating the new category of FPGA conversions.

“I became fascinated with speech technologies over the last several years. Vianix has given me the opportunity to take advantage of my background working with our semiconductor partners to deliver quality speech solutions”, said Brafman.

On board since March, he has been in close co-ordination with Vianix’ partners Analog Devices, Freescale, Intel, LSI Logic and Texas Instruments, while building sales channels and developing end customer demand.

Bernie, his wife, and their daughter will be relocating from California’s Silicon Valley to Virginia Beach this summer.
