Preliminary judges reviewed and scored entries in categories that were assigned to them based o their function and experience.

“I became acquainted with the national business contest last year when my client, Baxa Corporation, won the Stevie for Best Sales Team http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/2/prweb249343.htm . Being familiar with the high caliber reputation of the competition, I was honored to be invited to apply as a preliminary round judge this year and, in turn, very excited to ultimately be asked to serve. I appreciated the opportunity to review submissions from around the country,” Holben explains.

Two other preliminary round judges for the competition were from Colorado. In addition to Holben, the two other Colorado preliminary judges were: Jill Hollingsworth, director, executive leadership, Qwest Communication International, Inc., Denver; and Becky Strickland, senior human resources manager, Express Scripts, Pueblo.
