"AGENT GOLD" Mold, Termite and Wood Decay Protection; A Chemical Free Solution to a Global Problem

Scientific and University empirical data supports claims of cedar oil and Silicone as a natural termiticide, mold inhibitor and decay preventor. CedarCide Industries and Dow Corning announce the success of their joint effort in formulating "AGENT GOLD", a non-toxic solution for control of termites, mold and decay organisms that plague the International building and construction material industry.

(PRWEB) June 26, 2006 -- Scientific and university empirical data supports claims of cedar oil and silicone as a natural termiticide, mold inhibitor and decay preventer. CedarCide Industries and Dow Corning announce the success of their joint effort in formulating "AGENT GOLD", a non-toxic solution for control of termites, mold and decay organisms that plague the International building and construction material industry.

"AGENT GOLD was originally formulated for the Hawaii PCO service industry and professional exterminators," explained Dave Glassel, CEO of CedarCide Industries Inc., a Woodlands, Texas based manufacturer of wood protection and insect control products.

Cedar oil is a naturally reoccurring essential oil found in a junk tree that reproduces at 10 times its harvest rate and can provide satisfactory quantities of oil for the formulation of 'AGENT GOLD.'
With the help of the Dow Corning Corporation of Midland, Michigan, CedarCide Industries has been successful in the creation of a superior termite control solution that is considered green by environmental stewards throughout the World. "AGENT GOLD" is classified as a minimum risk pesticide that can be purchased and applied by homeowners or non licensed exterminators from the www.cedarcidestore.com .

CedarCide Industries has known for many years that cedar oil is a very effective compound for use as a insect control substance. Publications and studies done in the early nineties by Dr. Robert Adams of Baylor University in Waco, Texas identify cedar oil as a termiticide and a bactericide. Cedar oil is one of the few active ingredients approved by the EPA under its Minimum Risk Pesticide ruling of 96 Glassel explained. CedarCide Industries leads the insect control industry with its formulations of cedar oil and ethyl lactate concentrates designed for control of mosquitoes, grubs, fleas, ticks and other insects. CedarCide Industries also utilizes Cedar Oil in its wood protection products which provide unsurpassed results. The success of the wood and bamboo preservation formulations led us to the development of "AGENT GOLD" termiticide and wood decay protection. The World's wood and bamboo industries needed a post construction solution for termite, mold and decay control. CedarCide Industries will now be able to provide such a product without the use of toxic chemical influence.

"Quartz is the second most plentiful element on Earth," said Glassel. "Cedar oil is a naturally reoccurring essential oil found in a junk tree that reproduces at 10 times its harvest rate and can provide satisfactory quantities of oil for the formulation of 'AGENT GOLD.'"

Dow Corning specializes in the liquefying of Quartz, a natural inert compound that can be used as a encapsulating agent for cedar oil. Cedar oil is a highly penetrating substance that has been utilized for years as a fragrance carrier for the perfume industry. Combined with a food grade hydro-carbon solvent, the three elements will instantly deliver the cedar oil active into the infected area. The intense penetration level of the solvent immediately triggers the exodus of moisture in the wood while delivering a lethal dose of cedar oil to the termite and all other bacteria and fungal organism. Treatment results in the evacuation of all moisture in the wood and subsequently the demise of mold or wood rot or decay. "AGENT GOLD'S" contact with the insect suggests a 100 % mortality rate. Non contact suggests a 100% avoidance and triggers an exodus of the insect.

Total penetration of wood, stone and concrete is achieved with "AGENT GOLD" while it is delivering a lethal dose of cedar oil to the termite or ant species harboring in or below the material surface. It will promote death and evacuation of termites attacking wooden structures below or above ground level. Total penetration of AGENT GOLD into the wood will eliminate the wood eating insect forever. Treatment results mirror early stages of organically induced petrified wood, an off-limit area for all insects. The absence of moisture is the absence of both fungal and insect issues. Treatment with AGENT GOLD promotes moisture evacuation within the wood and is considered a permanent drying agent. Areas treated will create a barrier of re-entry triggered from the slow release aromas of the cedar oil which interferes with the termite or ants pheromone system. The specially formulated low VOC hydro-carbon carrier is resistant to aqueous influence and will not leach but remains encapsulated in the subject treatment. Foundation trench treatment adjacent to concrete slabs provides off-limit termite protection. Applications with a compression sprayer, airless sprayer or by brush will provide satisfactory results. Total penetration is rapid and treatment times are minimal.

Applicator should use normal safety precautions such as protective clothing, gloves and eye protection when applying this product overhead. Soap and water cleanup is suggested. AGENT GOLD is sold in 1, 5, 55 and 275 gallon containers. To learn more call CedarCide Industries at 1 800 842 1464 or visit the PCO products page of the CedarCide website.
