America's Series Partners with RacingJunk.com for Classifieds Built to Go Fast
The All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car series and Raceway Media have entered into a multi-year agreement to make RacingJunk.com the official classified website of America’s Series.
Camargo, IL (PRWEB) June 28, 2006 -- The All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car series and Raceway Media (www.racewaymedia.com) has entered into a multi-year agreement to make RacingJunk.com the official classified website of America’s Series.
Raceway Media will provide the All Star Circuit of Champions with the technology to set up a classified section on the their website, giving racers and visitors the ability to post and review FREE classifieds for everything race and performance related - from $5 parts to $250,000 RVs.
This partnership will start immediately and also includes the promotion of the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series on RacingJunk.com’s web site. “We are looking forward to a long-lasting partnership with Raceway Media,” said Bryan Autullo -- PR Director from the All Star Circuit of Champions, “the implementation of a classified section on our website is just the start of several projects we have in store with Raceway Media.”

The All Star Circuit is one of the premier sprint car sanctioning bodies in the U.S., with 50 to 60 races completed each season. It is owned by Illinois businessman, Guy Webb.
Now in their 27th year of operation, the All Stars take pride in their reputation of providing highly competitive, fair, exciting racing for outlaw sprint cars with many different winners each season.
The "outlaw racer" designation goes back to the 1930's when any driver not belonging to a particular racing club was considered an "outlaw." Today, membership is not necessary to participate in All Star events or to receive prize money. However, a membership is available for those car owners and drivers that want to earn points, be eligible for the drivers' benevolent fund, receive travel money, special cash or products and numerous other benefits.
About 400 drivers participate in All Star races yearly in front of an average of 5,000 spectators per event. Currently 60+ races are scheduled in ten states: Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Kansas. The schedule is flexible to include other states and Canada as well.
Prize money adds up to $1.5 million in a season. Over $200,000 cash is paid out by point fund sponsors to those drivers and owners who finish highest in the point standings, with an additional $100,000 worth of contingency prizes provided by many supporting companies.
