The Next Big Thing in Automotive Computer Tuning and Performance Evaluation Tools

The winner of two prestigious awards for engineering excellence, the Hypertech “HyperPAC” (Hypertech Performance Automotive Computer) not only contains the industry’s most powerful and engine-efficient tuning it is also loaded with user-friendly, never-before-offered software programs.

Bartlett, TN (PRWEB) June 29, 2006 -- The winner of two prestigious awards for engineering excellence, the Hypertech “HyperPAC” (Hypertech Performance Automotive Computer) not only contains the industry’s most powerful and engine-efficient tuning it is also loaded with user-friendly, never-before-offered software programs. These new Hypertech programs produce in-vehicle data that duplicates results from a chassis dynamometer, drag strip, engine monitor and diagnostic tool.

Specifically, Hypertech engineering staff has developed patent-pending methods to measure flywheel or driving wheel horsepower and torque values, corrected to standard conditions of temperature and pressure…while driving on the road. Similarly, on a safe stretch of roadway, standing start acceleration data can be gathered in the same increments produced at a dragstrip; reaction times, 60-foot, 330-foot, 1/8-mile, 1000-foot and -mile elapsed times and speeds…all initiated by a “Christmas Tree” count-down on the product’s 3“ x 4” blue, high resolution touch screen.

And there’s more. According to Hypertech Founder and President, Mark Heffington, “With the HyperPAC, you can re-program your vehicle for more power and better fuel economy, monitor the engine (with digital or analog gauges displayed), in addition to measuring acceleration, power and torque output. You can easily evaluate any changes to a vehicle, such as the addition of aftermarket performance equipment. It’s like having your own drag strip, engine dyno, chassis dyno, data acquisition system, diagnostic machine and power tuning computer, all in one.”

Designed as a precision Performance Automotive Computer, the Hypertech HyperPAC is a product with which customers can grow and expand, as additional programs are developed. The HyperPAC also has the ability to interface with all Hypertech external data acquisition modules to record such information as exhaust gas temperatures, air/fuel ratios and much more.

Founded in 1985, Hypertech is the world leader in high-performance engine tuning products for computer-controlled vehicles. Information on the complete lien of Hypertech Power Tuning products is available from Hypertech, 3215 Appling Road, Bartlett, TN 38133, phone 901-382-8888, www.hypertech.com , www.hyperpac.com.
