(PRWEB) July 8, 2006 -- IvisitU.com is a brand new concept designed to help the traveller community plan trips, meet people and find places to stay. By encouraging members (IvisitUs) to provide hospitality for one another in their home cities, travelling becomes a whole new experience.
The unique concept, was originated by a young student planning a long weekend in Copenhagen, unable to find affordable accommodation or advice from fellow travellers online. IvisitU.com successfully launched on the 22nd June 2006, is catching on fast with members joining from around the globe.
IvisitUs can log previous trips and describe their experiences, share pictures and contacts, they are able to log future plans to let others know about their next trip. There are tools to help find members living in certain areas or who plan to do the same trip. IvisitUs can find comments and pictures about any destination that other members have visited.
Most areas of the site are free to access but a PASS is required to contact other IvisitUs (messaging and chat). IvisitU is available in 4 languages, English, French, Spanish, and German.
The site is currently running a special launch offer – free passes for the first 10,000 members.
