Free PDA Quoting Software for Life Insurance Companies

Compulife Software, Inc. is offering free PDA life insurance quoting software to life insurance companies. The software works on both Palm and Windows Mobile devices.

Nicholasville, KY (PRWEB) July 7, 2006 -- Life insurance companies in the U.S. and Canada can now obtain free life insurance quoting software for PDA's. The new software will permit their agents and brokers to quote life insurance products on most of the popular PDA's and PDA phones available in the market place.

Compulife Software, Inc., which has produced life insurance comparison and quotation software for nearly a quarter of a century, has recently developed comparison software for both the Palm and Windows Mobile operating systems. Most of the PDA's and PDA phones current available in the market run one of these two popular operating systems.

QuickerQuoter can be run on PDA's that cost less than $100. Twenty-five years ago portable quoting technology was a rate card and a calculator in the agent's pocket. Today, with QuickerQuoter, the rates are built into the calculator and the entire cost is a fraction of the price of earlier calculators.
Compulife is now offering life insurance companies a variation of its quoting software that will only quote the products of that life company and/or its affiliate company - at the company's option.

Note: Many life companies sell life insurance using a different company for the state of New York. QuickerQuoter can include both companies and automatically use the appropriate company for the selected state.

The new quoting software is called QuickerQuoter and contains all the products which Compulife already has entered into its term insurance comparison software. A version of the Compulife multi-company comparison software is available to the general public at www.term4sale.com.

QuickerQuoter is free to life insurance companies providing that life companies have agreed to provide Compulife with forms. Most life insurance companies have converted their application and supplementary forms to PDF files which they provided to agents. Compulife has introduced a new centalized library that permits its subscribers to obtain forms for multiple companies from a single source. If a life insurance company is willing to provide its forms for Compulife's library, Compulife will permit the life company to distribute the QuickerQuoter PDA software to its agents and brokers. There is no charge for updates to the software providing that the company is keeping Compulife updated with copies of amended or new forms.

Compulife's QuickerQuoter PDA software is updated directly to the expansion memory cards used by PDA's and PDA phones. Because QuickerQuoter is installed directly to the memory card, and run from the memory card, the QuickerQuoter takes away none of the free internal memory of the PDA. It also means that the same memory card which can be run in a Palm PDA, can be taken and used in a Windows Mobile PDA. One card works on both devices which reduces the amount of software which life companies must manage.

Compulife's quoting software takes advantage of the 5 way navigation button. Newer PDA phones, that do not use a stylus and touch screen, can run the software using the 5 way navigation button. PDA's with touch screens can run the software using both the navigation button and stylus.

Because the software is small and compact, the program runs quickly giving instant results. And because the software resides on the SD card, there is no need for wireless services in order to produce quotes. This also insures fast results and, more important, low costs.

Compulife president Bob Barney noted, "QuickerQuoter can be run on PDA's that cost less than $100. Twenty-five years ago portable quoting technology was a rate card and a calculator in the agent's pocket. Today, with QuickerQuoter, the rates are built into the calculator and the entire cost is a fraction of the price of earlier calculators."
