Vegas Loves Thomas B, Winner of a Lexus RX350
The winner of the Fortune Lounge "Vegas Loves Ya Baby" promotion is Thomas B.
(PRWEB) July 15, 2006 -- After a thrilling nine weeks of lucky draws and tournaments, the King of Rock and Roll has finally crowned Thomas B. overall winner of the Fortune Lounge "Vegas Loves Ya Baby" promotion.
The final event for this promotion was held at the MGM Grand hotel and casino in Las Vegas, on Saturday July 1, 2006. Twenty-five finalists made it through to the gala event, hosted by members of the Fortune Lounge VIP team, as well as the King, 'himself' (a wildly entertaining Elvis impersonator), and a couple of Vegas showgirls.
After a round of cocktails and getting to know each other, all the finalists and hosts gathered in the banquet hall for a sumptuous dinner. This was followed by an entertaining show by Elvis, and then it was time for the drawing to begin.
The atmosphere was electric with excitement as the showgirls handed each finalist a playing card from a shuffled deck. On the main stage awaited the grand prize in the form of the splendid silver Lexus RX350. Distributed in various locations on the car were 25 envelopes, each containing a prize. Each finalist was asked to go and collect one envelope from the Lexus, in the order of the rank of the playing card they had been handed. Once everyone had collected an envelope, the tension suddenly exploded as the finalists simultaneously opened their envelopes to reveal the prize inside.
A scream of joy came from Thomas B, who opened the lucky envelope stating that he had won the grand prize – the Lexus RX350. The other finalists were not disappointed however, as all runners up received a prize in the form of casino credits.
Once photographs were taken of all the finalists, including pictures of Thomas B. sitting proudly in his brand new Lexus RX350, the finalists and hosts left the venue to enjoy the Cirque du Soleil show, "Ka". Everyone then partied the rest of the night away and enjoyed the nightlife of Vegas.
