SiSTeR Technologies, Automart.Com have Formed a Relationship to Provide VideoCarLot Services

The agreement calls for SiSTeR Technology to create video clips using data provided by Automart.com in a fully automated mode. The video clips will then be played back to the user via SiSTeR’s proprietary Zoomer Technology, embedded in the search page or via a link on the details page of every car.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 16, 2006 -- SiSTeR Technologies, Inc., a provider of applications and hosted services for the creation and management of multimedia marketing content for online retail and mobile environments, announced a new relationship with Automart.com to provide VideoCarLot services to their online clients.

The VideoCarLot revolutionizes the pre-owned car sales process by creating a video clip for each car, containing all of the car’s options and features. The VideoCarLot enhances the buyers’ experience and rapidly provides the necessary information for the final sale.

Automart.com is the world’s first car portal to enhance the consumer’s experience by adding video clips to thousands of listings. Under the agreement, SiSTeR will create a video clip for each car listing submitted by Automart.com Gold and Gold Plus clients. The clips will be published on the car detail page.

In the near future, Automart’s clients will be able to upgrade those clips by adding a short video advertisement to the front and back of each clip (Wrappers) and obtain a premium position by playing those clips on the search results page using SiSTeR’s propriety Zoomers. “More and more car buyers are searching the web before taking a step onto a dealer’s lot,” says Melanie Kovach. “The enhanced VideoCarLot package enables the dealer to differentiate their business by combining the power of TV with the Web at a fraction of the broadcasting industry costs.”
