Choir Director Says What Everyone is Thinking but Few Have the Courage to Say

Dear Choir Ms. …. by Lyn Snyder is a fictional collection of humorous letters touching on church-related issues, all the while poking fun at herself and other church-goers

Jupiter, Florida (PRWEB) July 16, 2006 -- Dear Choir Ms. …. by Lyn Snyder is a comical collection of fictional letters passed from members of a church to their woman choirmaster and her mischevious, tongue-in-cheek responses; although fictional, the letters often convey real messages about the outrageous behavior of church-goers – and non-goers- alike.

An eclectic group of characters writes to the Choir Ms. on topics ranging from their children’s “obvious” prodigy talents to intricate blueprints of how the singers should be arranged to look more presentable from the pews. Snyder sets the outrageously funny tone for Dear Choir Ms. …. with her opening letter to church members after being appointed their choir director. “Choir Master is clearly inappropriate, because it is a title for a man,” she says, “yet Choir Mistress would certainly open the doors for sleazy conjecture.” She chooses instead, the title Choir Ms. and invites members of the church and outside community to write her with their questions and concerns which she answers in Dear Abby-style in a monthly newsletter.

The book is “hit the nail on the head” funny, making bold statements outright that many have always thought, but never had the courage to actually say outloud.

Dear Choir Ms. …. by Lyn Snyder is available for sale online at Amazon.com, Borders.com, BookSurge.com, and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.
