US Business Leaders To Visit Libya

The Libyan American Chamber of Commerce has prepared a trip for business leaders to Libya for August-September. LACC invites other interested parties to join the tour.

(PRWEB) July 19, 2006 -- With full diplomatic relations between the United States and Libya now in effect since May 15, the Libyan American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) has prepared a trip to Libya to open up emerging trade opportunities.

A number of industry representatives in the food, oil, manufacturing, technology and banking sectors have already committed to be part of the delegation which is scheduled between 27th of August to the 6th of September 2006.

According to their website, www.LibyanAmericanCC.org, LACC is now inviting other astute businessmen and investors to join the group to discover the golden opportunities opening up for business, investment and joint ventures with Libyan companies.

The Libyan American Chamber of Commerce has recently been arranging official meetings in Washington with the Libyan Ambassador to coordinate the visit by US business leaders.

A representative for the Libyan American Chamber of Commerce, Mr Nehad Saeed, said that "We would also like to research together the opportunities for investments which support the economic relations between Libya and the United States of America based on our association’s goals."

Nehad Saeed said that the group intends to meet with Libya’s leader, His Excellency Muammar Gaddafi, Libya's Prime Minister, government ministers, and Libyan business leaders.
