ClearFlite Air Purifiers Supports Google's Accessibility Initiative

In support of Google's new Accessibility Search, ClearFlite Air Purifiers announces both W3C compliance and an Accessible Section for the visually impaired.

Elyria, OH (PRWEB) July 25, 2006 -- Today ClearFlite Air Purifiers announced the support of the Google Accessibility Initiative. ClearFlite Air Purifiers is dedicated to providing the visually impaired with the ability to use our site. This dedication has driven two major projects within the Information Technology department at ClearFlite Air Purifiers. First, the entire site has been run though the W3C HTML validator. Since the air cleaner site is over 350 pages and each had to be manually validated this was a major job. Secondly, an accessibility section was developed that achieves ease of use for the partially sighted with large letters and a black and white format for the severely color blind as well as careful use of linked text that makes sense to someone listening to the web via software such as Jaws.

While many in the SEO world scoff at W3C compliance, ClearFlite Air Purifiers has made this investment in time and money for the users.
“While many in the SEO world scoff at W3C compliance, ClearFlite Air Purifiers has made this investment in time and money for the users.” Said Ted Zajac, Jr. Vice President of Information Technology for the firm. “As the browser market continues to evolve away from MS Explorer as a monolithic solution we expected the search engines to begin to pay attention to the standards that allow any user to see the same view of a site. We were pleased that Google has led the initiative and hope to see the concern for standards “leak” into their standard algorithm.” Said Zajac.
