The Shark Poker Tour announces Veteran Poker Series

The Shark Powered Network is honoring all of their long term members with a special No Limit Poker Tournament every Sunday night. All Shark members are invited to join a different veteran host at premier online poker sites like Titan Poker, Poker.com, Poker Ocean and Sun Poker.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 27, 2006 -- The Shark Powered Network is honoring all of their long term members with a special No Limit Poker Tournament every Sunday night. All Shark members are invited to join a different veteran host at premier online poker sites like Absolute Poker, Titan Poker, Poker.com and Sun Poker.

Shark Poker Tour founder and CEO, “Shark” Hathaway has received tremendous support from many Veteran players. “Our host Veteran each week will receive a free satellite entry and will attempt to win entry into the World Series of Poker or the World Poker Tour,” said Shark Hathaway. “The player that knocks out the host each week will also receive free Shark logo gear.”

Membership is currently free to all Poker players worldwide. Join here www.onlineshark.com

The Sunday “Shark Vet Series” will be played at 8pm EST, every week. The $5.50 buy in will have added money of at least $200 every week also. Shark added “we will play No Limit Hold’em, with a pro structure for this series.” All players entered will receive 2500 starting chips and play a “shorthanded” format (6 players to a table) with 20 minute blind levels.

Shark Staked Player and long time veteran Doug “Connjure” Conn noted, “This is a great tourney structure and will give strong players plenty of time to rise to the top of the leaderboard.” “Typically, most sites play 10 minute blind levels with only 1000 chips,” added Mr. Conn.

For a list of future events and scheduled Shark hosts, visit the Shark Powered Network Forum where members from their four gaming affiliate sites, Online Shark, Shark Poker Tour, Checkrayz Poker and Sharks Vegas Strip learn strategy, make new friends and chat about Poker and Casino gaming. Freeroll players are also encouraged to join the Shark Tour to play in several added money Freeroll events each month. Registration is free at www.SharkPokerTour.com.
