Google Checkout Enhances the User Experience at Aj MOSS’ E-Commerce Website

Aj MOSS adds to the user experience and functionality of their e-commerce website by adding the newest technologies available. The latest added technology is the Google Checkout system. This system will add to the customers security, speed and satisfaction when making purchases.

(PRWEB) July 31, 2006 -- Continuing with their goal of offering the most recent technology to enhance their customers' buying experience, Aj MOSS inc. has added the “Google Checkout” system to their e-commerce website. Aj Moss inc. is an online retailer of bedding ensembles, linens and other enhancements for the home. The Google checkout system is up and running and ready for use on their website. By adding this new feature to their site aj MOSS hopes to reach an audience of people who seek more simplicity, security and speed in their shopping experience.

Google has made it easy for online retailers to add the system to their e-commerce website. Utilizing a Google account, which is free, a retailer can add their products and put the shopping system on their site. The system is somewhat similar to pay pal or Amazon's 1-click ordering system. Google checkout is essentially an online wallet in which consumers can store their credit card or banking information. Customers may then utilize their Google account user name and password to make purchases and track the shipping status of their orders.

Because the Google Checkout system holds all of the customer’s credit card or banking information, which is not shared with the retailer, the customer can feel secure knowing that their personal information is not transmitted over and over each time they make an online purchase. This additional security benefits our company and bolsters consumer confidence.
Aj MOSS believes that by adding Google checkout to their retail website they will offer their current and potential customers a more secure shopping experience. Aj MOSS has additional interest in Google Checkout because of the benefits that Google offers merchants using the system. The merchant fees which Google charges per transaction are generally lower than other online payments systems. In addition, any money which aj MOSS spends on Google’s Adwords on-line advertising program can be applied tenfold to the merchant fees which Google charges for using the checkout system. One dollar spent on Adwords will translate into a $10 rebate on merchant fees.

Google Checkout also allows customers a speedier checkout. When a customer chooses to purchase a product from aj MOSS, they simply have to click the Google checkout button and enter their username and password to complete the purchase. This method is similar to Amazon’s famous 1-click checkout service, but the service is available from any online retailer who chooses to use it.

Aj MOSS is in the process of adding many enhancements to their web site. In addition to Google Checkout, a bedding blog was recently added and the website has been moved to a dedicated server to make the user experience faster and more reliable. Aj MOSS has plans for more upgrades over the coming months.

Aj MOSS is owned and operated by partners David Maple and Amy and Patrick Armstrong. Aj MOSS has a retail store in North Conway New Hampshire but does a large bulk of their business online.
