Matthew Modine Joins Soldier Ride
On Saturday, July 29, Soldiers’ Angels will be hosting the closing ceremonies and beach party for the cyclists of Soldier Ride, an event that began on May 6th in Montauk, NY, and will end at 3pm at Semper Fi Park in San Clemente.
(PRWEB) July 28, 2006 -- On Saturday, July 29, Soldiers’ Angels will be hosting the closing ceremonies and beach party for the cyclists of Soldier Ride, an event that began on May 6th in Montauk, NY, and will end at 3pm at Semper Fi Park in San Clemente.
Actor Matthew Modine, one of the stars of “Full Metal Jacket” will be adding his support by riding alongside our soldiers into San Clemente.
Adam's Attic, The Bader Band and Jillian Russell will be performing at the beach party. Mayor Wayne Eggleston and your community are excited and happy to help Soldiers' Angels honor these riders. Please join us in welcoming the riders who have ridden from New York to California as they bring awareness to the continuing needs of those wounded in defense of our nation. Line the streets and show your support as they ride into San Clemente.
