Christian Memorials Assembles Board of Advisors, including Founder of Largest Christian Radio Station

Christian Memorials web site, managed by Eterna Link Communications, announces the appointment of Marcos Rodriguez, Dr. Sherman Pernia, and George Wilcox to its board of advisors.

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) July 29, 2006 -- The ability to plan future communications with loved ones brings a great deal of comfort to people who know they will soon die, yet wish to keep in touch with the loved ones they leave behind.

The idea of communicating with loved ones after death may seem unusual to some, but the idea is as old as the epitaph. In many cases, the opportunity to do so brings comfort to those who know they may soon pass away, as well as those they leave behind. Judging from the guest book comments left on memorials published on http://www.ChristianMemorials.com, the web site is indeed bringing great comfort to many.

"I can see the great value of extending family ties and relationships beyond this life, all founded on the Christian hope we all share. That is why I am pleased to join the board of advisors at Eterna Link Communications," said Marcos Rodriguez. "This wonderful service not only maintains the bonds of love between family members, it enables people to create loving tributes and memorials for their family members who have passed away.

"I like the fact that the hard earned wisdom of those who have passed can be documented and distributed to their prodigy, at the appropriate time, to their benefit," he added.

Rodriguez is an entrepreneur and Christian media pioneer who built KLTY Radio in Dallas-Ft. Worth from scratch to the largest Christian radio station in the United States. Rodriguez joins co-founder John Moetteli, Dr. Sherman Pernia, and George Wilcox on the board of advisors to Eterna Link Communications.

"Marcos brings incredible experience and some unique entrepreneurial talents and skills that we welcome on our board of advisors. I look forward to working with him to help spread the word about our services among those who value the wisdom of a life of experience, that now can be readily shared to those in need of counsel, many years beyond the life of the counselor himself " said co-founder John Moetteli, a U.S. patent attorney.

After earning a PhD in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and serving active duty in Vietnam, Dr. Sherman Pernia became a U.S. Patent Attorney and later began working with the co-founder of the site, John Moetteli.

"I want to leave a lasting legacy, and believe that my involvement with this project will be an important part of this legacy," said Pernia.

George Wilcox brings knowledge and experience to the team of advisors because of his experience as the co-director of Wilcox Publishing, Spanish for Children, and Touch Spanish, a Spanish curriculum for children used in hundreds of schools throughout the United States.
"His background in graphics design, publishing and marketing, as well as his knowledge of Latin American culture, make him a valued member of the board of advisers, particularly as we move to a Spanish language version of the site, commented Moetteli.

"The reason so many people want to communicate with loved ones after they die is simple," said Moetteli. "It is to remember, be remembered, share faith, offer hope, and comfort, and to pass on hard-earned wisdom. An epitaph carved in stone is does not permit any sort of interaction with the recipient of the message. Users can tailor their messages to their specific needs and personal desires, which gives them a great sense of fulfillment and peace of mind."
