“Who Says Guilty Pleasures Have to be Expensive!”

Jeff Kelderman of Kelderman AirRide Suspension Systems and CJ Hanlon of Guilty Customs have come together to craft the industry’s first known manufactured FLH Bobber conversion frame.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 1, 2006 -- “Who says Guilty pleasure has to be expensive!” These words echo loud and clear as the sound of another successful FLH bobber conversion rolls down the road due to the efforts of Jeff Kelderman of Kelderman AirRide Suspension Systems and CJ Hanlon of Guilty Customs. These two companies have come together to craft the industry’s first known manufactured FLH Bobber conversion frame.

“Harleys FLH motorcycles have been recognized and respected throughout the world for durability and reliability. What Kelderman and Guilty are doing is bringing to the FLH community an innovative and economical alternative to owning a custom motorcycle. All this while using a platform that is well known and a piece of motorcycling history. The FLH Bobber conversion is an alternative for those interested in having a one-off custom, but don’t want to spend the time or excessive amounts of money to have one built from the grown up”, says Kelderman, president and owner of Kelderman AirRide Suspension Systems.

Kelderman and Guilty Customs share the passion of making available a dependable and distinctive alternative for the individuals looking to build their own custom bobber, while making it available at a reasonable price. Match this with the people to assist the consumer after the sale, and this venture was an easy choice for both Kelderman and Hanlon.

“The FLH Bobber’s low center of gravity, simple lines, superior handling characteristics teamed with rider comfort, makes this bike not only interesting to the established hardcore male rider, but will be uniquely positioned to satisfy female and new riders,” says CJ Hanlon, owner of Guilty Customs. “Of course the FLH Bobber Conversion can be modified to fit the needs and wants of the individual rider, but the basic model will be just as you see it, simple.”

The frame is designed to allow anyone with an FLH model HD to use all the parts (minus the frame) to build their own custom bobber. The bobbers frame uses the original swing arm and swing arm mounts and the seat is 6” lower than the original HD frame. While the rake is the same, the neck is stretched which allows you to install the motor and transmission all in one piece. The frame is made of 1 1/8” material with 1/8” wall thickness. And the whole conversion takes less than 7 days. The basic FLH Bobber Conversion starts at $4,000.00.

The FLH Bobber Conversion will be available from Guilty Customs’ facility in Apopka Florida, with Kelderman AirRide providing the proprietary components necessary to make this bobber a true “one-of-a-kind”. The conversion kits will be sold online and through other dealers in North America starting in September of 2006. Negotiations are also underway to make this kit available in Europe and South America. For an early peek the FLH Bobber Conversion can be seen at PB Choppers at Sturgis this year on Thunder Road across from the Full-Throttle Saloon.

Kelderman AirRide (www.keldermanairride.com) is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of air-ride and lift systems and parts. Largely an online supplier and manufacturer/builder, the company carries everything from “build-your-own” kits, and everything in between. Jeff Kelderman holds several patent on air ride systems including Harley-Davidson softails.

Guilty Customs, LLC (www.guiltycustoms.com) is a licensed motorcycle manufacturer that is quickly establishing itself in the custom chopper industry by bringing to the discerning consumer, innovative and “rider friendly” custom motorcycles that are reasonably priced. Guilty is one of the few companies with a line exclusively for female riders.

In Hanlon’s words, “at Guilty Customs, we are guilty!... of wanting to give the FLH enthusiast the bike and the experience they deserve.”

Inquiries should be directed to Cj Hanlon by email.
