Philanthropy Quotations Gift Books Promote Giving

New inspirational quotation gift books cater to charities and their donors.

(PRWEB) August 8, 2006 -- Americans give away more than $260 billion each year to charities. Now nonprofit organizations have a creative way to thank and inspire their donors, thanks to a new line of inspirational quotation gift books from Designs for Giving.com.

The new “Living Series” of philanthropy quotation gift books is a meaningful yet affordable way to recognize contributors as well as volunteers. The inaugural volume is “Living a Life of Significance” which was followed by “Living a Life of Purpose” and “Living a Life of Courage.” The fourth book, “Living a Life of Abundance” is forthcoming.

“As a fundraising professional, I know how difficult it is to find something that is classy -- yet affordable -- to give to your best donors. People love these little books!” says Sheree Parris Nudd, Founder of Designs for Giving.com.

Each book contains 101 quotations drawn from contemporary luminaries as well as from the wisdom of the ages. “There are also some well-placed humorous quotations,” notes Sheree. “And you’ll find some of the classics -- like the quotation from Winston Churchill that says, ‘We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.’”

Best of all, in quantities of 100 or more, a custom book cover is available with the charity’s name printed in the cover.

It’s suggested that organizations order now to allow plenty of time to approve the electronic cover proof and receive the printed books.

A standard version of the book is available for charities that need fewer than 100 books.

The books also make great gifts for individuals to give to friends, family, and co-workers or for businesses to give to clients and friends.

For complete information, including pricing and a glimpse of the inside of the books in the series, visit Designs for Giving.com at www.DesignsforGiving.com.
