Capella University PhD student Named Outstanding Professor of the Year at the City College of New York Center for Worker Education

Minneapolis (PRWEB) August 9, 2006 -- Rosemari Mealy, a PhD student in Capella University’s School of Education, has been named an Outstanding Professor of the Year at the City College of New York Center for Worker Education. The students selected Mealy for her overall professionalism and dedication to higher education.

Mealy is an adjunct professor at the City University of New York Center for Worker Education, where she teaches courses on sociology, labor studies, and legal studies. She is also employed as an assistant director of education for District Council 37 of AFSCME in New York.

Mealy is pursing a PhD in leadership in higher education at Capella and expects to graduate in 2007. Capella is an accredited online university and a leader in online education.
