lynda.com Releases Motion 2 Essential Training

Over five hours of self-paced training in Apple’s Motion Graphics application.

Ojai, CA (PRWEB) August 13, 2006 -- lynda.com, the company specializing in self-paced career and computer training in digital media and design, announced today the release of Motion 2 Essential Training.

Motion 2 Essential Training is designed for digital video editors who need to create commercials, titling, lower thirds, music videos, and other features that require moving graphics. Expert instructor Larry Jordan explains how to best use Motion 2 to fit the objectives of any project. He describes in detail the secrets and shortcuts used by pros to do everything from dissecting and customizing the Motion 2.0 interface to creating keyframes and shapes. The training also covers the process of combining still images, movies, and visual effects from scratch or using one of Motion 2’s many templates. Exercise files accompany this tutorial, allowing viewers to follow along and learn at their own pace.

“Apple’s Motion 2 is a very powerful program, and quite useful to editors who aren’t motion graphics experts. Larry Jordan has a great breadth of industry experience creating professionally edited programs, and covers the numerous real-world uses for Motion 2 moving graphics,” says Lynda Weinman, CEO of lynda.com.

Anyone with an Internet connection can access Motion 2 Essential Training by subscribing to lynda.com’s Online Training Library™. A separate DVD version of Motion 2 Essential Training is scheduled for release in late August.

Subscriptions to the lynda.com Online Training Library™ start at $25 per month, and provide access to more than 14,000 movie tutorials covering a wide range of technology career tools, software, and techniques. Subscribers can access any of the computer-based training titles at their convenience. Multi-user subscriptions are also available for companies and institutions seeking to provide education and training to groups.
