Organize-It Partners With SLI For Improved Site Search

Organize-It announces a partnership with SLI Systems Inc. where SLI will power the site search for www.organizes-it.com. The SLI solution uses a learning search technology to improve search results and Organize-It will utilize SLI's Site Champion for search engine optimization.

Shelby Township, MI August 14, 2006 - There is nothing worse than being on a web site and not being able to find what you are looking for. Internet shoppers on www.organizes-it.com will not have that trouble. Organize-It, the web site’s owner, has announced a partnership with SLI Systems Inc. where SLI will power Organize-It’s site search. “The SLI solution uses a learning search technology” explains Nick Panas, IT Manager for Organize-It. The search results get better over time as the SLI program learns which products customers are looking for when they enter a search phrase.

“We are working hard to make the customer experience as good as it can be when people visit our site” says Panas. “The SLI search solution is a major step in completing this goal”. In addition to the learning technology, the SLI solution also allows customers to sort their search by category and price in addition to providing alternative search suggestions. “We feel that our web sales will increase because customers will have a much easier time finding the products that they are looking for” says Panas.

The one year contract was the result of over one month of trials and testing. “We feel our site search is greatly improved for our customers” said Chris Nylen, Organize-It’s General Manager. In addition to the learning site search, Organize-It will utilize SLI’s Site Champion service which will provide better search engine optimization. “We have to make sure customers can find our site before we can show them how well our search performs” explains Nylen.

Organize-It is an independent retailer specializing in storage and organization products since 1997. It operates a 9500 sq. ft. store containing a custom closet and office furniture showroom in Shelby Twp., MI and a busy retail web site (www.organizes-it.com) featuring thousands of products including closet systems, kitchen organizers, wicker baskets, storage bins, shelving and shoe racks.
