Former 'Apprentice' Contestant Starts a Christian Apparel Company

Tarek Saab, former contestant on The Apprentice 5, along with his partner David Colletti, will launch www.LionheartApparel.com on August 15th. Lionheart Apparel speaks with symbols.

Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) August 14, 2006 -- Tarek Saab, former contestant on The Apprentice 5, along with his partner David Colletti, will launch www.LionheartApparel.com on August 15th. Lionheart Apparel speaks with symbols.

About the Company
A clothing company dedicated to outfitting Christian men in quality apparel, Lionheart Apparel, LLC, provides apparel that is subtle, symbolic and stylish. Although a person is defined by their actions, we believe a person's clothing choice can make a strong statement. Our mission is to provide men with a way to declare their Christian beliefs to the world without saying a word. Similar to sporting the jersey of a favorite athlete, our clothing line encourages men to identify with Christian role models throughout history. The company will promote positive messages with clothes that are hip and creative. The graphics are eye-catching and detailed.

Philanthropic Efforts
As a company and as men, we believe we are called to defend life at all ages, both born and unborn, and we donate ten percent of all profits to pro-life causes on a quarterly basis.

About the People
Tarek Saab, 27, is the CEO and co-founder of Lionheart Apparel. Tarek rose to fame in 2006 as a popular contestant on The Apprentice 5. Tarek’s openness about his Catholic faith and his commitment to spreading the Christian message has generated significant interest from the media and fans throughout the country.

Tarek has been featured in such magazines as Us Weekly, TV Guide, Teen People, Enigma, Outreach, Midwest Beat, In Touch Weekly, Inside Pulse and The Mensa Bulletin. He frequents the airwaves promoting the clothing line and his book. Notable interviews include “Imus in the Morning,” “The Dary Day Show,” and “The Derek and Romaine Show” to name a few.

Tarek, who hails from New Bedford, Mass., holds a B.A. in liberal arts from St. Anselm College and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Catholic University of America. In addition to being a member of Mensa, Tarek played rugby for the Dallas Harlequins of the U.S. Super League and rowed crew in the Henley Royal Regatta in England.

Tarek said, “My belief that young men are suffering from an identity crisis inspired the clothing line.”

David Colletti, 27, is the COO and co-founder of Lionheart Apparel. He also serves as the company's General Counsel. David’s entrepreneurial spirit has always called him to build a company from the ground up. From this desire and his intrepid Catholic faith, along with his belief that men need to practice their faith openly and with pride, Lionheart Apparel was born. His belief that Lionheart clothing will inspire faith-based discussion for men who are normally reticent is a vision that has been widely promoted in Christian circles.

David, who is from Landsdale, Pa., graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Catholic University of America in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and in History. He earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from George Washington University in 2003, where he graduated with High Honors.

In addition to his academic achievements, David has played rugby in the U.S. Super League for the Potomac Athletic Club, the Winged Foot RFC of The New York Athletic Club, and the Dallas Harlequins. An avid sportsman, he is an accomplished tri-athlete who regularly competes in events throughout the United States.

David is a firm believer that actions speak louder than words (or symbols). He acknowledges that being a man of Christ is a great challenge, and his message to men is: Identify Yourself!

Man of the Month
