Cocoa Designs Introduces Additional Flavors of Gourmet Chocolate Bars

Crunchy praline almonds and hazelnuts meet luxurious hand made rich Venezuelan chocolate bars in four new flavors: raspberry, espresso, dark chocolate and orange.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2006 -- Cocoa Designs today announced the launch of four new varieties of Cocoa Nuts™ Bars. As of today, Cocoa Nuts™ Bars Framboise, Café, Orange and Extra Noir will be added to the repertoire of the company’s all-natural, hand made gourmet chocolate bars. The new flavors complement the existing flavors, Azteque and Epices, which have been on sale since November 2005. Each 3.7oz (105g) bar serves up to six people, or sometimes only one really decadent one, and are a warm welcome into the world of artisan chocolates.

Gourmet chocolate bars are all the rage this season for retailers and consumers alike. New retail displays for Cocoa Nuts Bars are available this fall season. The displays are versatile, clear acetate boxes and accommodate up to 8 bars. Each display box is attractive in a large chocolate display, and is small enough to put close to the register to satisfy the demands and needs of the impulsive cocoaholic.

Consumers enjoy Cocoa Nuts™ Bars because they are simple, ready to go and come in classic shapes that remind us of childhood memories and nostalgia chocolate. For Cocoa Designs, these new bars are an extension of the world of Cocoa Nuts™, the company’s first and flagship product.

Cocoa Nuts™ are hand made praline almonds and hazelnuts covered in Venezuelan chocolate and dusted in cocoa powder and spices. While there may be other chocolate covered almonds, only Cocoa Nuts™ are all natural, all hand made, and come in unique flavor combinations.

Signature almond flavors include Framboise (raspberry), Lait (milk chocolate), Noir (dark chocolate), Café (espresso), Epices (black pepper blended with allspice, nutmeg and cloves) and best selling Azteque (New Mexican chili and cinnamon). Hazelnut flavors include Extra Noir (very dark chocolate) and Orange (citrus marmalade). Cacao intensities range from 41% to 73% and ingredients, all hand-picked to match the flavor blends, include Valrhona, El Rey, Cocoa Barry, Scharffen Berger and Schokinag cocoa powder and chocolates.
