And The Women Most Likely to Rule the World Is ...

New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are on a collision course at the 2008 American Presidential Elections. Video producer WatchMojo.com looks at 50 women who you want to rule the world.

(PRWEB) August 22, 2006 -- You have People's Fifty Most Beautiful People, Maxim's Hot 100, Time's Man of the Year and Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year, and now, you can add WatchMojo.com Top 50 Women with Mojo List.

“After the success of our Top 50 Men with Mojo list, our readers asked us to return the favor and publish a list of Women with Mojo, so we had to oblige.

"But first, we had to determine exactly what constituted a Woman with Mojo,” explains WatchMojo.com’s Executive Producer, Ashkan Karbasfrooshan.

“Since we had defined the criteria for the Men with Mojo list as charming, charismatic, confident, determined, tenacious and virtuous men from the fields of athletics, film, arts & science, politics and music who have demonstrated polyvalence, flexibility, versatility and durability to overcome adversity and challenges, we wanted to publish a similar list for women.”

In light of the fact that 2008’s American Presidential Elections might showcase not one, but two women -- in New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice -- after much debate, WatchMojo.com asked its hosts, viewers, editors and panel:

“Which women -- dead or alive -- would have the confidence, track record, drive, charm and intelligence to win a worldwide election to become President of the Planet and best lead the World?”

Not surprisingly, both women made the list. Also not surprisingly, Eva Longoria, winner of Maxim’s Hot 100 list, did not make the list. Like the Men with Mojo list, the inaugural Women with Mojo list does not restrict itself to people who are alive.

Who else made the list? In addition to Secretary of State Rice and Senator Clinton, Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, Mother Teresa, Amelia Earhart and 44 others from the fields of science, politics, medicine, business, athletics and entertainment made the list, including some surprises, like adult movie star Jenna Jameson. “Jameson has managed to wrest away control of a traditionally male-dominated industry, one of the largest in all of entertainment. She would probably be the one who can get most votes from men and women,” explains Karbasfrooshan. Besides, he goes on to add: “porn has entered the mainstream; ten, fifteen years ago, people were shocked at what Madonna did, today, and the envelope’s been pushed far enough to the point where Ms. Jameson’s antics are accepted de rigueur in our society. All right, some of Ms. Jameson’s antics are accepted…”

When asked if this list would become an annual one, Karbasfrooshan left it off at: “Life is short and there is so much to cover out there, repeating the same list every year suggests a lack of creativity…, besides, what has it done for SI, Fortune, Forbes and People?” he finished with a smile.
