Will New Mp3-DV Cam Targeted for YouTube, MySpace Users Challenge iPod's Media Player Dominance?

Adding personal videos to networking sites is the new craze. YouTube.com recently reported that 100 million videos are downloaded from its website daily. The Mp3 DV Cam, from GadgetGreats.com, is just 1/2 the cost of the iPod Video and film Digital Video. Mp3 DV Cams are chewing away at iPod's portable media player market share. At the same time Mp3 DV Cams are making quick video adds to YouTube and MySpace more popular than ever.

(PRWEB) August 22, 2006 -- 65,000 videos are uploaded to YouTube.com, a social networking and video sharing site, everyday. 100 million of the site’s videos are downloaded to watch daily. Last month alone, 2.5 billion videos were viewed by 20 million people registered as users. MySpace also has a video upload function. The one problem is: Finding and buying cheap digital video cameras can be difficult. GadgetGreats.com has provided an affordable solution: MP3 MiniDV Camcorders, or MP3-DV Cams.

What is a MP3-DV Cam? They are compact media players that have built in Digital Video Camcorders. MP3 DV Cams use the new Mpeg4 (MP4) technology. MP4 Video Players were released last year in Asia but have rarely been seen or heard of in the States. Mpeg4 technology compresses music and video files to smaller files than MP3 players can. This allows user's to store up to 240 songs or 38 music videos to a 1GB Secure Digital (SD) Card. GadgetGreats.com is among the first to bring these Mini DV cams to the American public.

These pocket size DV cams are considerably less expensive than traditional camcorders, and they have the functionality to play Mp3 songs and Mp4 movies in addition to their recording capabilities. They are also $130 less than the video iPod, which has no camcorder capabilities like the Mp3 DV cam does. GadgetGreats.com prides itself on having the "rarest species" of electronic gadgets not yet seen by the American consumer, like its slim Mp4 player, HDD Media Players, and the ever impressive cheap digital video cameras found in their Mp3 Mini DV Cams. Owner Tunde Sosanya explains, “We cater to both tech savvy, gadget-loving consumers as well as the general public-- detailed product descriptions, 4-6 product pictures per item and fast customer service allows GadgetGreats.com to efficiently service any customer. We are here to educate the consumer and make people’s lives easier.”

Along with the latest technology, GadgetGreats.com offers consumers very affordable pricing as compared to the rest of the portable Mp3 player market. For example, their slim Mp4 player costs 1/3 less than the video iPod and has around 3 times more functionality. GadgetGreat.com’s large selection of Mp4 players not only play videos and music, but they can also voice record, listen to FM radio, and play games. And, it is a slim Mp4 player (about the size of the nano) that can play videos. Sosanya boasts, “MP4 Players were a big hit. But, these Mp3 DV Cams are really going to change which functions Apple is going to have to add to their new iPod players. The technology is here, there is no turning back now.” Opened earlier this year, GadgetGreats.com features over 500 products.

Wholesalers that are looking to distribute the new technologies available at GadgetGreats.com are welcome discuss options with them directly through the ChinaGrabber.com website.
