Some Books Can Be Judged By Their Covers; Biblio.com Launches Improved Rare Book Room

Biblio.com, one of the world's largest marketplaces for used, rare, and out-of-print books, announced the launching of their new and improved Rare Book Room.

(PRWEB) August 25, 2006 -- Biblio.com has always maintained a section of their site for the display and marketing of particularly rare or unique titles, and the new interface provides better functionality and visual elements that truly make it a site worth visiting.

“Biblio has built a reputation around working with quality booksellers that list quality inventory,” says Kevin Donaldson, the Director of Sales and Marketing of Biblio.com. “With the re-launch of the Rare Book Room, we are attempting to provide a better service for customers to be able to enhance their shopping experience while they are considering a purchase that may be a life-long investment.”

The new Biblio.com Rare Book Room includes features such as larger images, improved product display, and monthly product features. In the near future Biblio will be syndicating some of the Rare Book Room content to other web sites that are interested in promoting the sale of rare and unique titles, providing essentially a Virtual Rare Book Room. Syndication will offer more marketing opportunities for bookseller’s inventory.

“One of the most exciting features of the new Rare Book Room,” says Donaldson “is the monthly feature. In September we are promoting The Beat Generation. Sellers will nominate any book listed on Biblio.com and then vote for the best of these books. Winners will be featured in the Rare Book Room, and receive the book listing free in the Rare Book Room for as long as the title is listed on Biblio.com.”

Biblio.com

Biblio.com Inc. is now one of the leading sources for used, rare, out-of-print, and hard-to-find books. Substantial growth in the last two years has allowed Biblio.com to go from a fledgling company to becoming the third largest site of its kind in the world. Biblio.com currently offers 40 million titles from 5100 independent booksellers in 36 countries through its online community of websites.
