The Aries Brass Quintet Presents “The Glorious Sound of Pure Brass” at Cherokee Ranch & Castle

The Aries Brass Quintet is an ensemble internationally recognized for its elegant approach to brass chamber music performance. The ensemble has toured the United States, Western Europe, Russia, and Central and South America, and has been heard live on National Public Radio and Russian national television. Aries has been the invited guest of the Moscow Conservatory of Music and the International Music Festival of San Jose, Costa Rica. Aries has enjoyed a 20-year residency with the prestigious St. John’s Cathedral chamber music series in Denver, Colorado, and is also in residence at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music. A fresh and exciting chamber ensemble, Aries is in the forefront of commissioning new works, which embody the spirit of American music.

Sedalia, CO (PRWEB) August 31, 2006 -- Cherokee Ranch and Castle today announced the Aries Brass Quintet will present “The Glorious Sound of Pure Brass” on the Cherokee Castle Veranda. Visitors will enjoy a charming elegance and spectacular views over 3,000 acres of open space as they are entertained by the internationally recognized quintet.

The Event:

Sunday, September 3rd, 5:30 p.m., Cherokee Ranch & Castle

Tickets $75 per person

The evening is a three-part event.

  • Part one: Complimentary wine tasting, cash bar, supper buffet, and tours of the castle.
  • Part two: The Performance.
  • Part three: Dessert-coffee reception and conversation with the performer.

Classical Guitar Concert
Led by internationally acclaimed guitarist Ricardo Iznaola with Jonathan Leathwood and Masakazu Ito. This concert will feature a unique program with guitar solos, duets and trios. The concert will feature compositions by Ricardo Iznaola as well as works by composers from Argentina, Brazil and England, among others.

Directions
From central Denver take Interstate 25 South to exit 188/Castle Pines Parkway. Turn right and continue until Castle Pines Parkway ends. Turn left on Daniels Park Road and continue for 1.9 miles. Our entrance is on the right.

From west Denver take Colorado Highway 85 South through Sedalia. Turn left on Daniels Park Road. Our entrance is 1.3 miles ahead on the left.
